Sunday Afternoon - Draw Time is 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM
The emphasis is on fun while learning the fundamentals and etiquette of curling. Instruction will be provided to develop curlers skills, technique and strategy using a combination of drills and game play. The first part of the season will focus on a combination of instruction and short games. Curlers will then progress to a round robin tournament and play-offs to end the season.
Equipment Required: Curling broom, clean soled shoes, gripper, slip on slider or proper curling shoes, comfortable loose fitting clothing, and a curling (or hockey) helmet is strongly recommended for curlers who are 12 years of age or under as of December 31st, 2026. The curling club has brooms available for use during this league.
Recommended Age: Ages 10 - 13 - this is guideline only.
Registration fee includes events throughout the season including End of Season wind-up lunch.
